Essential information

Obligatory

Must not donate if:

1. For malignancy.
2. Inflammatory bowel disease.

Discretionary

1. All tissues:
   If the reason for the ileostomy is not of itself a reason to exclude and the stoma is healthy, accept.
   
   
2. Eyes:
   1. If related to malignancy, see Malignancy.
   2. If related to inflammatory bowel disease and there is no evidence of ocular involvement, accept.

Reason for change:

The 'Discretionary' entry for 'Eyes' (malignancy) has changed.
