Essential information

Obligatory

Must not donate if:

For malignancy or inflammatory bowel disease.

Discretionary

1. If the reason for the colostomy is not of itself a reason to exclude and the stoma is healthy, accept.
   
   
2. Eyes:
   1. If related to inflammatory bowel disease and there is no evidence of ocular involvement, accept.
   2. If related to malignancy, see Malignancy.

Reason for change:

The 'Discretionary' entry for 'Eyes' (malignancy) has changed.
