NIBSC standards available from MHRA South Mimms Laboratories

MHRA South Mimms Laboratories, formerly the National Institute for Biological Standards and Control (NIBSC), produces a wide range of standard materials, available as World Health Organization (WHO) international standards, WHO reference reagents and NIBSC brand standards.

Many are pertinent to transfusion medicine such as serological, virological, bacteriological and coagulation standard preparations.
